Credit Risk Manger - Commercial Equipment Finance - Hiring Immediately

Company:  Is a global finance company who operate as the primary lender across a set of truck and machinery brands.  Providing finance to both the manufacturer and their end user customers.


Opportunity:  Is the most senior Credit Manager in the Aust & NZ region.  Responsible for the portfolio of Truck and heavy commercial equipment finance, including a small team of Credit analysts to support you.


Role:  Working with the Country manager and reporting to the Board this role will manage a small team; including Credit assessment and collections.

All applications will be Truck, Bus and Trailer finance, to a mix of owner drivers and large corporate fleets.  The analysts will prepare and recommend client facilities, while you will hold a senior approval authority and liaise with the board or regional risk teams on large fleet transactions.

This role will be the manager responsible for the A&NZ portfolio of commercial trucks and equipment finance, including portfolio quality.  It will have interactions with the OEM brands, which you support and you will own the credit process defining how the dealers interact with credit to get deals done.

This role will have periodic reporting requirements, providing visibility into the portfolio performance.  It will also be your job to ensure that facilities are approved, documented and secured in line with PPSR and Corporations Act legislation.


Requirements:  We will be seeking to speak with candidate that can show the following:
1. Prior equipment finance DLA holder over $1million
2. Team leadership exposure would be a strong advantage
3. Real estate lenders cannot be considered, for this equipment finance role
4. Well rounded experience across a full business cycle 
5. great communication and presentation skills with you reporting to board.
