Your new role
As a Credit Underwriter, you will assess residential mortgage applications across direct and broker channels with a strong focus on manual credit decisioning.
In this role you will:

• Complete full credit assessments for mortgage applications
• Analyse deals manually without relying on system auto decisions
• Call brokers to clarify information and resolve scenarios quickly
• Apply policy, use judgement and make confident decisions within delegation
• Contribute to a consistent, collaborative and high trust team environment

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience in residential mortgage credit assessment
• Proven manual credit decisioning skills
• Confident engaging with brokers by phone
• Strong attention to detail and consistent quality
• Team focused, down to earth, and open to feedback
