The CRM Marketing Specialist, Segmentation & Insights will be developing and implementing segmentation strategies using analytics. This role requires a strong ability to analyze customer data and market trends to tailor personalized marketing campaigns and communications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with broader marketing objectives and drive growth by identifying new opportunities in customer engagement. Your expertise will also ensure the effective use of CRM tools and the optimization of targeting strategies to enhance overall marketing effectiveness.

The opportunity

Strategy and Brand Innovation

  • Develop and implement segmentation strategies using customer demographics, behavior, and purchasing patterns.
  • Use data analytics to segment customers into meaningful groups, enabling targeted marketing strategies.
  • Design and implement targeting strategies to personalize marketing campaigns and communications to reach specific segments, aligning with broader campaign goals.
  • Identify and engage new or underserved segments and markets based on analytical insights, aiming to increase market share with strategic marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and broader marketing teams to integrate market insights and customer feedback into product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Analyze internal data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new opportunities for customer engagement and growth.
  • Stay updated on CRM software advancements and evaluate potential new tools or features that could enhance CRM capabilities.

Creative Production and Design Excellence

  • Oversee the optimization of CRM tools, recommend enhancements, and lead experimental methods such as A/B testing to increase CRM effectiveness.
  • Monitor and optimize targeting approaches based on campaign performance and customer feedback.
  • Develop dashboards and regular reports on CRM activities, providing insights into the effectiveness of segmentation, targeting, and penetration strategies.
  • Train and empower team members to leverage these insights for data-driven decision-making, enhancing the overall marketing strategy.

Skills, knowledge and abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, statistics, information systems, or a related field.
  • Three (3) o five (5) years of experience with marketing, including two (2) to three (3) years of hands-on experience with CRM.
  • Proven experience in CRM segmentation analysis and strategy development
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools and methodologies to interpret complex data sets and drive customer segmentation and targeting.
  • Experience with CRM Systems and utilizing these platforms for marketing automation and customer insights.
  • Strong passion for data management and creating customer journey campaigns.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Experience with digital marketing, e-commerce, and campaign management (an asset).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel) required
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent French and English (oral & written) required. This position will be working with global partners and researching competitors across the globe and presenting data analysis to members of leadership in Australia.
  • Bonus: knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry.
