Your role as Cruise Marketing Coordinator is to ensure the success of campaigns that drive demand for agents, and consumers to purchase cruise related product.
You will be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences. You’ll have a knack for social media, press and trade publications, maintain great relationships with suppliers and have the ability to work to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
As the Cruise Marketing Coordinator, your accountabilities will include:
- Developing strategic cruise marketing initiatives and activities to drive consumer demand
- Implementing marketing plans that include print, broadcast and online content
- Developing and create branded advertising campaigns, and support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content
- Setting up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities to understand conversion rates
- Conducting market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage
- Trafficking all advertising efforts to appropriate channels so ensure return on spend
- Developing and managing all internal communication systems to agents about product offering
- Managing print contractors and other promotional vendors
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Simplifying complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management
In order to be successful in this role, you will be able to:
- Deliver content to a strict deadline
- Ensure Error free communication and production
- Efficient Analysis of marketing campaign and return on investment opportunities
The ideal Candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications
- Two years of experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
- Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behaviour
- Solid organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
