Job Description - CSA Support Officer


Customer Service Administration Support Officer


At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training.


 



  • Ongoing Full-Time

  • Location: Wollongong

  • Intrastate travelling may be required each term

  • Clerk Grade 5/6 with salary ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 base plus superannuation and leave loading.

About the role


The Customer Service Administration Support Officer provides a range of administrative and project support functions. The position supports the Lead Administration Operations Manager and Customer Service Manager – Projects to have a high functioning and operationally efficient team.

About you


We are looking for a motivated individual who possesses:



  • Proficient technology skills such as MS Excel

  • Strong attention to detail

  • The ability to use relevant data to solve problems to enhance systems and processes

  • The ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


 


Key knowledge and experience



 


Essential requirements of the role



  • Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check for paid employment) clearance or willingnes to obtain one. 

  • Hold a valid provisional or full Australian Driver’s licence 

  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
