What you’ll contribute to 

We’re looking for a Customer Case Consultant to take ownership of complex and sensitive customer cases, including vehicle rejections (refunds/replacements, ACCC undertakings (where applicable), and internal policies.

You’ll play a critical role in protecting TMCA’s reputation while delivering thoughtful, customer‑first resolutions—balancing compliance, commercial outcomes  and customer satisfaction.

This is a 12 months maximum‑term opportunity, based at our Altona North, Centre Of Excellence office.

How you’ll make an impact 

  • Take full ownership of escalated customer cases referred from First Contact Resolution and Case Management teams within the Toyota/Lexus, Customer Assistance Centre.

  • Manage accurate and thorough case documentation, providing clear, timely updates to customers and Toyota/Lexus Dealers via phone, email, SMS, and formal correspondence

  • Gather and assess information from multiple sources, building detailed timelines to support sound decision‑making in line with legislative and policy requirements

  • Make informed recommendations and implement appropriate countermeasures in accordance with TMCA’s policies and procedures

  • Drive timely resolution of complex matters while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and risk mitigation

  • Proven experience in customer service, complaints handling, or conflict resolution

  •  Strong ability to manage stakeholders and negotiate outcomes in complex or high‑risk environments

  •   A strong appreciation of Customer First principles and the Toyota Way

  •  High attention to detail, with the ability to assess information accurately and objectively
