The Customer Experience and Event Lead plays a pivotal role in orchestrating and elevating customer engagement and event experiences within the organisation. This multifaceted position involves conceptualising, planning, and executing initiatives aimed at fostering memorable interactions with customers while strategically integrating events, including but not limited to conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops to enhance brand perception and loyalty.

Selection Criteria

  • A minimum of five years of experience coordinating large-scale events/conferences.
  • Extensive experience in customer experience and contact centre environments.
  • Proven ability to establish effective new networks and productive relationships with community, organisations, agencies, government, and other stakeholders and continue to maintain professional relationships to ensure the successful delivery of deliverables within ACNs events.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the capability to motivate and engage stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse group of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven well-developed problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated use of initiative and ability to multi-task in a high volume and deadline-driven environment whilst maintaining a high standard of work.

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience with a range of office computer software including email, databases, spreadsheets, and advanced word processing.
  • Experience with IMiS or similar, desirable, however not essential.
  • Experience in a high-volume administrative environment.
