About Moonee Valley Racing Club
Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) is the historic home of Australia's most prestigious horse race, the Ladbrokes Cox Plate and also plays host to the best night racing in Australasia with Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights. The Valley is considered Melbourne's most appealing spectator racecourse, offering an exciting, up-close and personal entertainment experience like no other.
In addition to racing, the Club also operates a progressive hospitality portfolio including non-raceday events business, three multi-purpose entertainment venues, a restaurant and continues to push into new premium off-course markets through it's Dean & McPherson creative catering business. Dean & McPherson delivered the world renowned Presidents' Cup and is the hospitality partner of Melbourne Royal and the Melbourne Showgrounds. MVRC is committed to maintaining high standards of excellence in customer service throughout its operations.
MVRC is currently in the process of a defining $2bn+ transformation project that involves developing lifestyle, recreation and leisure spaces to create an industry-leading connected precinct that will redefine the horse racing industry. Designed to make MVRC one of Melbourne's most prized sports and events destinations, the project will generate new business and tourism opportunities while elevating MVRC into the new realm for generations to come.
About the role
A unique opportunity has arisen at The Valley to join the team in the role of Customer & Partnership Coordinator. Reporting to the Partnership Account Manager, the role is responsible for supporting the Membership and Partnership Team with servicing of the Club's members, partners and key stakeholders. The role will help service our members and deliver contractual obligations to Club partners as outlined in commercial agreements and identify with partners opportunities to add value. This role will also support our program of community initiatives and commercial events such as business lunches and activations. The position will have daily contact with the MVRC members. partners and stakeholders to ensure they are receiving timely and outstanding customer service.
