The Role

We're seeking a career-focused individual looking for an opportunity to develop their skills in the fast-paced Transport & Logistics Industry as an Customer Service / Administration Officer. The successful applicant will be an admin all-rounder, with the ability to be adaptable and dependable within our varied working environment utilising multiple computer systems. 

Duties & Responsibilities:                

  • Customer Service response (phone / email)
  • Data Entry accuracy
  • POD capture data and retrieval
  • Checking and verifying loading plans for accuracy and cross-referencing
  • Monitoring urgent / critical freight movements
  • Completing scheduled depot reporting 
  • Create line haul manifests 
  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Accurate pallet reporting
  • Other basic administrative duties

Experience and Skills:

  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Teamwork skills (effectively working with others)
  • Ability to provide customer service support 
  • Strong administration and learning skills 
  • Positive attitude, reliable and efficient
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive mind-set to learning & personal development 
  • Efficient time management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Problem-solving using resources and teamwork

 

Highly regarded, but not essential: 

  • Prior Transport Industry and Warehousing experience
  • Systems Experience (TS2000, Loscam Online, Chep Portfolio, etc…)
