The Admin and Customer Service Officer is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service and administrative support to our team. 

Our Company

AJ Wilson Wholesale Food Distributors is a locally owned & operated food distribution business with products ranging from frozen, fresh and ambient products, as well as packaging and cleaning solutions.  We have something for every hospitality, food service business and home cook, all conveniently stocked at our centrally located warehouse in Forster. Servicing from Smiths Lake to Port Macquarie and inland to Gloucester, Taree & Wauchope, we service cafes, pubs, clubs, restaurants, aged-care and takeaways. We also have a retail shop open to the public.

The Role

We are currently on the hunt for an enthusiastic Admin & Customer Services Team member to join our small, close-knit team.  This role will be starting most mornings at 6am Monday to Friday with the ad hoc Saturday morning required. Key responsibility's include:

Administration 

  • Accurately enter and update customer information in our systems.
  • Support the Office Coordinator with completing administrative duties to ensure smooth operations of our office.

  Customer Service 

  • Professionally handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the retail shop.

Other Duties

  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing and showcasing specials for the retail shop and wholesale customers.
  • Ensure activities comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, legal demands and professional and ethical standards.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures for the Company are applied consistently and always adhered to.
  • Actively support and lead by example with all Company standards and objectives.
