Position Summary: 

This is a 12-month fixed-contract role. The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for providing customer service to internal and external customers to ensure customer requirements are met and ICU Medical’s reputation of superior customer service is upheld and maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer queries/orders via email and phone
  • Implement effective solutions to meet customer and business needs
  • Enter sales orders (including sample orders) and ensure orders are entered correctly and in accordance with the corresponding purchase order
  • Liaise with customers, supply chain and logistics for timely deliveries
  • Follow up back order notifications and order tracking
  • Creation of pro forma invoices
  • Initiate and follow up of Return Goods Authorities (RGA) and maintenance of RGA register
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services 
  • Filing, retrieval and archiving of documentation

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with an Oracle system is a must
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a customer service role or a role with a customer-centric focus
  • High level of verbal communication with an outstanding phone manner
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to organise workload and have the initiative to seek out opportunities to assist other teams with tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously 
  • Must have Australian or New Zealand working rights 

Travel Requirements: 

  • Typically requires no travel in role
