Happy Hockers was founded over 30 years ago and is a leader in the pawnbroking industry.  

We have 4 pawnbroking shops in the Sydney Metro area, and we pride ourselves on treating our team members as valuable as the gold we buy!

Happy Hockers is a modern Pawnbroker, we deal in rare and unusual items, we also do loans on items that no other pawnbroker will do.

Happy Hockers helps those in need on a daily basis, whilst striving to make our customers experience second to none. 

At Happy Hockers our mission is to promote a happy, pleasant and modern experience in borrowing cash, and buying and selling of second hand goods. 

Happy Hockers promotes the industry through our TV show Pawn Stars Australia.We sit on the board of the NSW Pawnbrokers association, and we are involved in the drafting of the regulations for the whole of the industry in NSW.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Serve Customers
• Appraise goods for purchase or loan
• Sell our products.
• Support the Happy Hockers online team

Your role at Happy Hockers will be all encompassing. Appraising a vast array of items for a Loan or Purchasing. Selling items in the retail section, stock management and liaising with the rest of the team.

Skills and experience

Your job training and work experience with Happy Hockers won’t only develop your excellence in retail, buys, and loans but it will also deliver invaluable life experience.

Happy Hockers has an opportunity for Full and Part Time as well as Casual Team members, and applicants should be available to work weekends, however there is no late-night trade.
