Job Description - Customer Service Specialist

Looking to join a team that’s small enough that your contribution is noticed, valued, and appreciated, but big enough that it will see you working with some of the biggest names in renewable energy? 

Our work and partnerships in the renewable market have seen us awarded the Finders Green Energy Retailer of the Year award. We have also been named one of Australia’s best electricity providers by CHOICE.

 

This is where you could come in! 

We’re on the lookout for a number of superstars to join our phone-based Customer Care team in Richmond on a full-time basis. Our Customer Care Centre operates from Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 6.00 pm and we will need you to be able to commit to a rotating roster during these times.

 

What does a typical day look like?

  • Identify and assist our customer’s needs via inbound calls into our customer care team. 
  • Provide clear and timely responses to meet our service level agreements.
  • Build strong customer rapport and relationships.
  • At times, manage difficult conversations, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within agreed time frames, and follow up to ensure resolutions are met.
  • Manage customer records, interactions, and documents accordingly.

Office and working environment?

We have a great new office space, along with flexible working arrangements with 2 days a week at home and 3 days in the office not to mention an awesome team who strive to provide the best customer experience possible. 

 

Enough about us, let's hear about you…

  • Have energy and personality plus! 
  • Ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Can communicate professionally (both written and verbally) with people from all walks of life, it's not an easy proposition, so being able to communicate complicated issues is a must.
  • Know your way around a computer.
  • Not afraid of hard work.

 

Call center experience is essential and if it's within the energy industry then that's and added bonus, but as long as you’re engaging, passionate in providing great customer experiences and put our customers first in everything you do, then you have what it takes!
