Job Description - Customer Support Specialist - Generous Compensation

We are searching for an expert Customer Support Specialist to join our innovative team at CIC Technology in Fyshwick, Canberra ACT.

About the Role:

Working as part of the national operations support team, this role is responsible for day-to-day technical support of our hardware and software products, including:

  • Attending client locations for technical support and routine programmed maintenance
  • Installation of all CIC products
  • Carrying out software, firmware and hardware upgrades
  • Responding to technical support enquiries via telephone and our support portal 
  • Providing technical product training 
  • Report presentation as required for Q&A purposes

About You:

You will need to be passionate about customer service, demonstrate technical excellence, be a team player, want to contribute to our success and enjoy making a difference! 

In addition, you will:

  • Have previous experience in a technical support position either as a Level 1 or Level 2 Technician
  • A broad knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, backup systems, software, and hardware
  • Have a positive attitude and problem-solving skills
  • Have the ability to work in a team & autonomously, travel interstate will be required periodically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As this position works with our Government Clients, you will need to be an Australian Citizen, have a full Australian drivers licence and be able to pass a security clearance.
