Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Backhoe Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining backhoe equipment efficiently and safely on various projects for SA Water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate backhoe equipment to perform excavation, trenching, and other tasks as required.
• Safely maneuver equipment around job sites, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on backhoe equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and fellow team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Adhere to project schedules and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating backhoe equipment in a construction or similar environment.
• Valid driver's license and licence to operate Backhoe
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment operation.
• Ability to interpret and follow construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A
