Cyber Security Architect – NV1

Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect – NV1 cleared, for our esteemed Large Federal Government Client. This is a long term contract with 12 months initial term and 2x12 months option to extend, based on funding and approval.

About the role:
You will be an experienced Information Security Architecture Specialist with a sound understanding of the Information Security Manual, ACSC Essential Eight Maturity Model, Protective Security Policy Framework and other relevant industry frameworks, including experience in systems, solutions or enterprise architecture roles.

In this role you will provide ‘secure by design’ information security architecture services to Client and portfolio agency environments.

Main duties will be:

• Develop and refine the department’s enterprise security architecture framework and services catalogue.
• Effectively engage with stakeholders on cyber security architecture activities, including the development and refinement of security architecture patterns.
• Provide expert risk, assurance and compliance advice to business areas to understand, identify and document key controls to ensure key risks and compliance obligations are adequately managed.
• Provide representation at technical committee and advisory board meetings, providing expert security architecture advice to facilitate the secure delivery of ICT services.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholder across the division, department and portfolio.
• Assist with the team’s management of competing priorities, delivering outcomes in line with the department’s cyber security strategy, ICT business plan, and departmental mission objectives.
