Cybersecurity Governance & Assurance Manager

Contract Cybersecurity Governance & Assurance Manager opportunity working for a leading University Your new company
You will be working for a leading University based in Sydney.
Your new role
You will maintain business-as-usual cybersecurity governance and assurance operations. You will manage and update cybersecurity risk registers, policies, controls, and treatment plans. You will lead follow-ups from NIST assessments and vulnerability management reporting. You will resolve cyber governance tickets (ServiceNow) and support day-to-day CISO office activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, assurance, or compliance roles
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF and familiarity with other security frameworks
• Experience reviewing and developing information security policies and directives
• Proven background in audits, assurance programs, governance reporting, and risk management
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Protecht, or similar GRC tools
