DARC Operations and Maintenance Manager

As the Operations and Maintenance Manager at DARC site 1, you'll lead the O&M team, manage suppliers and subcontractors, and oversee the maintenance of plant and equipment. You'll ensure seamless operations across all facilities while maintaining security standards and supporting both onsite and remote activities. Lead and manage the Operations and Maintenance team to achieve operational excellence Oversee supplier and subcontractor performance to meet contractual and safety requirements Ensure effective maintenance of power plant, diesel generators, and facility systems Maintain robust security and compliance within a high-security, defence environment Foster strong relationships with internal, local, and international stakeholders You're an experienced and hands-on leader with a strong background in facility operations and maintenance. You excel in managing people, systems, and risks, ensuring performance, compliance, and the delivery of critical Defence capabilities. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (preferred) Proven experience managing O&M operations in a technical or Defence environment Skilled in planned and reactive maintenance of power and electrical systems Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels Strategic thinker who drives process improvement, reliability, and team development
