Data Analyst - AI and Data

The opportunity 

As a Data Analyst at the Senior Consultant rank, you will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technical data and digital solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and data specialists to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights and scalable solutions.

You will bring strong experience in the development and management of PowerBI dashboards, alongside a solid foundation in data modelling, preparation, and transformation. Your ability to lead workstreams, influence stakeholders, and drive outcomes will position you as a trusted advisor across both business and technology teams.

Working within diverse client environments, you will contribute to delivering data-driven transformation initiatives that enable better decision-making, improve operational performance, and unlock business value.

In line with client requirements this role is based in our Boorloo – Perth, Australia office. 

Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities 

• Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and technical requirements across data and digital initiatives.


• Design and deliver PowerBI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.


• Perform data modelling, data preparation, and transformation, ensuring quality, integrity, and usability of data assets.


• Act as the interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment between requirements, solution design, and delivery outcomes.


• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagements, and requirement-gathering sessions with senior business and technical audiences.


• Support delivery teams by translating requirements into functional specifications and ensuring solutions meet business expectations.


• Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members, contributing to team capability uplift and delivery quality.

Skills and attributes for success  

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within data, analytics, or digital transformation environments.


• Strong hands-on experience with PowerBI (dashboard design, data visualisation, data modelling).


• Experience in data modelling, data preparation, and working with structured and unstructured data sources.


• Ability to translate complex business problems into clear, structured technical requirements.


• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.


• Experience leading small teams or workstreams within project environments.


• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly and with impact.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below, but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

• Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.


• Familiarity with data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar ecosystems.


• Exposure to agile delivery methodologies and modern product delivery practices.


• A proactive, outcome-focused mindset with a strong attention to detail.
