Your new role
As a Data Analyst / BI Frontend Developer (ideally 5-7 years' experience), you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports using shared and governed semantic models. This role is highly frontend-focused, working at the intersection of business requirements, user experience, and analytics.You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into intuitive, insight-driven reporting solutions.Key Activities:

• Design and build frontend Power BI dashboards and reports using shared semantic models
• Develop both interactive and paginated (print-ready) reports
• Work closely with BAs to translate requirements into reporting deliverables
• Validate data outputs with business and product owners (measures, totals, hierarchies)
• Develop layouts, filters, self-service capabilities, and user-focused UX
• Undertake data exploration and perform loop-back discussions with stakeholders
• Support stakeholder engagement and UAT activities

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience in Power BI report design and development, including interactive and paginated reports
• Excellent visual design skills with a focus on usability-driven dashboards
• Strong business and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate requirements into clear deliverables
• Working knowledge of Power Query and DAX (light use, primarily for measures)
• Consumer-level understanding of dimensional models from Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and/or Azure Data Lake
• Experience with API development for GraphQL data publishing
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and support UAT
