Data Centre Technician

We are currently opening a position for a Data Centre Technician to work with our Adelaide facilities team. 

This role will see you supporting the Facility Management Team with the day-to-day operations of the data centre by providing high quality & efficient technical maintenance and customer service.   

Your Responsibilities will include:  

• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the Facility Rules and ensure adherence at all times  
• Assisting with customer equipment and installations  
• Delivery of cabling needs, electrical and data, to customer racks and areas  
• Attending to Remote Hands Request ensuring they are delivered within the SLA  
• Assisting with the maintenance of all core electrical and mechanical systems  
• Assist in the production of various operational and customer reports  
• Ensuring that facility problems are identified and resolved in a timely manner  

• Hands on experience with fibre optic/communication cabling and testing
• Excellent customer service, communication skills and most importantly, a can do attitude  
• Good knowledge of critical infrastructure in a data centre would be advantageous
• Good planning, organising and analytical skills  
• Proficient Computer Skills
• TAFE Cert in Telecommunications  
• Candidates MUST be Australian Citizens because of security clearances required
