A leading Federal Government department seeks to engage Data Engineers to support the Chief Data Officer in delivering the Data and Reporting Strategy to improve data governance.

Your Responsibilities:

Design, construct, and optimize data lakes, CI/CD, and Synapse pipelines within the Azure stack
Develop scalable architecture practices for pipeline designs
Lead data migration and integration for critical change programs
Ensure data integrity and align engineering tasks with program objectives
Monitor and improve data service performance and costs
Maintain documentation and adhere to data governance policies
Research and innovate within the Azure data engineering field

About you:

At least 3+ years of experience in Data Development
Perform detailed design based on high-level architecture
Experience in detailed design for data integration on Azure cloud data services including ADLS, SQL DB, data lake Synapse and blob storage
Developed complex ETLs based on SSIS and customised coding C#, .net or vb.net Development experience with Power BI (stored procedure, DAX, functions, views)
Proficient with Azure data factory and Azure Event Hub Strong understanding of DevOps or other version control system
Experience working in an Agile environment Exceptional communication skills including written and oral skills
