Day Shift Storeperson - with Growth Opportunities

An opportunity exists at our Canberra foodservice branch located at Fyshwick for a day shift Storeperson.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position requires accurate picking and packing goods, ensuring the assembly of goods and the loading of trucks is conducted accurately, product integrity is maintained, and time management is adhered to. You must be physically fit. Training on our in-house systems will be provided.  

Duties:

• Picking orders among other warehouse functions
• Load and un-load goods either by hand, or by using a forklift or other lifting equipment
• Deliver products to customers as per invoice requirements
• Perform other related duties as directed by Operations Manager

 Skills and Experience required:

• Be physically fit
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work in the freezer storage area at minus 25 degrees temperatures
• Previous warehouse experience desirable 
• Current MR truck licence and Forklift licence would be an advantage
