Job Description - Dealer Manager, Retail (QLD)

Purpose;

The primary purpose of this role is to proactively work with key Automotive Dealerships within the state, to proactively build long-lasting relationships, to grow a profitable Angle Auto retail book.

Core responsibilities;

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of dealerships, achieving volume, penetration, and business targets

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders at all levels

  • Conduct regular dealership visits, performance reviews, and strategy planning

  • Deliver training, product knowledge sessions and support dealer staff

  • Identify new business opportunities and support dealers in maximising customer conversions

  • Analyse portfolio performance, market trends, and competitive insights to drive outcomes

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including credit, settlements, operations and marketing

  • Ensure compliance, governance and quality standards are upheld

Qualifications;

  • Tertiary qualified in Business, Commerce or Finance - desirable, but not essential

Experience;

  • Proven experience in dealer or business development management, ideally in financial services, automotive, or related industries relationship-building and influencing skills

  • Comfortable working to targets and delivering commercial results

  • Confident communicator with the ability to train, present and engage stakeholders

  • Analytical thinker able to interpret data and apply insight to strategy

  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work autonomously in the field

  • A proactive mindset – someone who takes ownership and drives outcomes
