We are seeking a nurturing and engaging nanny to assist a professional family in Dee Why. The nanny will be responsible for caring for two children (4.5yr old boy and 22 month old baby girl). An ideal nanny will be warm, caring and nurturing. A nanny that is bubbly, energetic/active and confident, is happy to engage and play and have fun. The nanny will be a gentle and responsive carer and is comfortable with following the children’s routines, needs and interests.. A nanny that has a genuine love of children and can dedicate their time to them both and enhance their learning and development on a daily basis. The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is responsible, patient , safe, reliable and is able to commit to the role on a long term basis and be highly invested in building a lovely relationship with the whole family. The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows – Care for the children Provide age appropriate activities (plan, engage, play) Drop eldest off to Kindy /Pick up required occasionally Take the youngest out for a walk, swim at the beach, play at the park/ playground/outdoor play Cook/prep meals and snacks for the children and evening family meal prep Assist with light household duties -Keeping the main areas of the house tidy, kitchen tidy, dishwasher-packed/ unpacked, tidying of toys at the end of the day Run errands occasionally Load of washing/ folded and put away Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long term permanent – 5th Dec 2024 The days and normal hours – 1 days – 9 per week Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm The family’s expectations from their nanny are – 3 years + experience as a nanny or worked in child care Have a current first aid certificate Have a current working with children’s check number Display strong communication skills and speak English To be fit, healthy and active Up to date with all vaccinations Full drivers licence and clean driving record Job Reference: LLD136 Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
