Delivery Driver / Storeperson

We are a dynamic Independent Plumbing Supplies business in Somerton looking for an additional truck driver with excellent problem solving abilities as well as organizational and interpersonal skills. You will be valued as a part of our team and expected to work Monday – Friday

This is a casual position suitable for candidates with experience in the plumbing industry which will likely lead to full time employment

About the role

You will be responsible for the following areas:

• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Delivering goods to the customers within a set time frame
• Dealing with customer inquiries at point of delivery
• Deliver products to customers as per invoice requirements.
• Assist with general store keeping duties and stock putaway etc.
• Adhering to Work Health and Safety procedures
• Clean vehicle at the end of each shift

 The successful applicant 

• A full license
• Must be able to drive a manual LR vehicle (MR Medium Rigid Preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Be physically fit with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a positive attitude, reliable and punctual
• Must be eligible to work full time in Australia
