Delivery Lead - Scrum Chapter

Seeking an experienced, senior and influential Delivery/Scrum Lead to support our Higher Education client Your new company

Your new role
As a Delivery Lead, you will play a senior leadership role coordinating scaled delivery across multiple cross-functional squads operating within a Learning & Development value stream. Acting as a servant leader, you will connect strategy through to execution, ensuring delivery is aligned to prioritised business outcomes.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Value Stream leadership, Chapter Leads and Scrum Masters to plan and coordinate work, remove impediments, manage dependencies and uplift delivery maturity. The role liaises extensively across the wider IT structure, including Delivery and Change Chapters, as well as multiple multidisciplinary squads.
Key responsibilities include:- Coordinating scaled Agile delivery across several squads within a value stream- Leading effective planning, resourcing and delivery governance- Identifying, managing and escalating risks, issues and dependencies- Supporting budget planning and financial reporting for delivery of initiatives.- Driving continuous improvement in Lean and Agile delivery practices- Coaching and mentoring delivery practitioners to uplift capability- Promoting a psychologically safe, innovative and high-performing delivery culture
Canberra is the preferred location for this role.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring a strong background in large-scale IT delivery within complex environments, combined with a deep understanding of Agile and Lean delivery approaches.
You will ideally have:- Extensive experience in senior delivery, program or portfolio leadership roles- Proven experience leading delivery across multiple Agile squads and stakeholders- Strong knowledge of business agility frameworks and scaled Agile approaches- Demonstrated success in driving organisational change and delivering improvement initiatives- The ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and disciplines- Highly developed leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills- Experience managing competing priorities, budgets, timelines and outcomes
Relevant postgraduate qualifications, Agile certifications or equivalent experience will be well regarded.
