About the business and the role

Country Care Group is considered one of the largest and most respected suppliers of medical and in-home aids, for people living with disability, mobility impairments and the aged.  

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Delivery Specialist to join our team based in Warrawong, NSW  

As the Delivery Specialist, you will deliver mobility equipment such as lift chairs, scooters and walking frames to private houses or aged care facilities and assist in setting up the equipment and demonstrating to the customer as needed.

A NDIS Worker Screening check and National Police check will be required for this position. 

It is also a requirement that you be fully vaccinated against COVID19. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Deliver excellence in customer service.
  • Loading, unloading, delivery and pick up of mobility aids to and from private homes, aged care facilities and hospitals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, occupational therapists, healthcare facility staff, hospitals, and nursing facilities to ensure the delivery of exceptional products and services.
  • Undertake assembly of equipment and client support through the demonstration, adjustment and installation in line with manufacturing requirements.
  • Undertake efficient scheduling, time management and administrative duties.
  • Undertake warehouse duties as required. 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a delivery role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to perform manual handling- bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and related products is desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the region.
  • National Police Check & NDIS Screening Check.
  • Aptitude to learn how to build repair and maintain mobility and health care equipment

Skills desired 

  • Mechanically minded and interest in tinkering with and repairing equipment
  • Electrical Test & Tagging Licence
