What you’ll do as a Delta 1 Trader at Akuna:

We are seeking Traders with HFT market-making experience to join a dynamic team in our Sydney office. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a desire to make an immediate impact. Akuna Capital is an innovative trading firm with a strong focus on collaboration, cutting-edge technology, data driven solutions, and automation. We’re committed to mentoring new Traders to help them apply their prior experience to the problem’s we’re solving.

As a Delta 1 Trader, you will leverage your previous experience in a market making environment with our proprietary technology to quickly add value to our growing market making business. You will be responsible for Delta 1 research, strategies and execution within an existing options market making team.

Qualities that make great candidates:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience


• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science or a related/equivalent field


• Strong math aptitude, numerical and quantitative analysis skills


• Entrepreneurial self-starter ready to work in a fast paced, team environment


• Passionate about problem-solving and finding creative solutions in an ever changing market


• The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently while fostering external professional relationships


• Detail-oriented


• Proficiency in Python required, C++ experience is a plus
