Casual Dental Assistant – 4 Days per Week | Glenelg Dental

Are you a passionate and patient-focused Dental Assistant looking to join a supportive and friendly team? Glenelg Dental is looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to join our thriving practice 3 to 4 days per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern practice environment alongside a team that genuinely values collaboration, professionalism and exceptional patient care.

Days required: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and occassional Saturdays

In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with our clinicians to help deliver a seamless and comfortable experience for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures
• Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms
• Supporting infection control and clinical compliance processes
• Assisting with patient care and creating a welcoming environment
• Managing stock and general clinical support duties
• Supporting the wider team where needed

What we value most is a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.

Experience or qualifications in the following areas would be highly regarded:

• Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferred but not essential
• Experience using dental practice software systems
• A valid Working With Children Check (essential)
