About the opportunity:

• 1 x Casual Dental Assistant/Receptionist (approx. 3 days per week). Full days available between 8:30-5:30 or 6:30pm! No weekends! Start in reception, with training in dental assisting scheduled for the near future.

The heart of the role: 

• Maintain our amazing customer and team culture - providing continued excellent customer service to our patients
• Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
• Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
• Provide instrument sterilisation
• Maintain infection control standards and procedures
• Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
• Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
• Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
• Making patients aware of dental services and offers
• Handling payments
• Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
• High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner

What you'll bring: 

• Ideally have 6 months+ experience in Australia as a dental assistant or receptionist. Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded, although not essential - and you'll be compensated with the pay to match your experience level! 
• You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about customer service and patient care
• Organised with attention to detail
• Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
