Design Assistant

Due to rapid growth and expansion we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Designer to join our Design & Production team

This is a fast paced position working alongside another garment technician and closely with various teams within our business. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with trend research, mood boards, and seasonal concept development
• Research and identify key trends, items, colours for collections 
• Assist the design team with the creation of CADs using Adobe creative suite
• Support the design team across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to final sample approval
• Help prepare design presentations and range overviews
• Manage and track fabric, trim and custom developments developments 
• Help manage and organise fabric swatches, trims, and lab dips, maintaining up-to-date resource libraries
• Manage and track all incoming factory parcels, ensuring timely delivery, accurate logging, and communication with relevant teams

• Recently graduated, studying or currently studying Fashion Design
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume environment
• In-depth knowledge of emerging trends, brands, boutiques, influencers, and wider pop culture.
• Strong instinct for the WF customer and evolving brand identity, with a clear understanding of the current fashion landscape.
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
