Design Manager

A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact as a Design Manager in this prominent National building services engineering consultancy firm. As you would expect, day-to-day matters will span a mixture of;

• Office and site - 50/50 client management and internal team management
• Technical design QA
• Client and external stakeholder interfacing activities
• Internal team management
• Attending meetings

About you
There is significant autonomy in the role - and the ability to make it your own. The client will ideally engage a Design Manager with extensive building services engineering consulting experience.

• Expert on relevant Australian building codes and standards.
• Multi-discipline engineering understanding
• Strong client interfacing capabilities
• Taking decisions in large projects
• Australian Citizenship for a minimum of 5 years is mandatory.

The client will negotiate a salary package circa $200,000 ++ commensurate with capabilities and experience. Significantly experienced relevant candidates will negotiate a salary on a case by case basis.
