Level 1-3 Support Engineer | Permanent Position | South West Sydney Your new company
You'll be joining a well-established organisation with an internal IT function supporting day-to-day business operations. The business offers a stable environment where technology is critical to keeping teams productive and connected. This is a permanent, onsite position where IT is valued as a trusted enabler rather than a reactive service. Your new role
As a Desktop / Network Support Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering reliable IT services across the organisation. You will provide Level 1-3 IT support, with the role focused on Level 1 and Level 2 work, while also supporting selected Level 3 issues and contributing to infrastructure improvements and projects.
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone with a broad technical skillset spanning end-user support, infrastructure, and networking. You'll work autonomously, take ownership of issues end-to-end, and support both people and systems in a practical, on-the-ground environment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing desktop and network support across the business
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, access, connectivity, and Wi-Fi issues
  • Performing laptop builds, refreshes, device replacements, and on-site fixes
  • Supporting Microsoft 365, including user and access administration
  • Diagnosing and resolving network and Wi-Fi issues to maintain business continuity
  • Managing incidents and requests through a ticketing system
  • Supporting mobile devices and MDM tools where required
  • Contributing to infrastructure upgrades, standardisation, and improvement projects
  • What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a well-rounded IT background and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
  • Proven experience delivering Level 2 support, with some Level 3 exposure
  • Strong hands-on desktop support experience (hardware, software, and endpoints)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments
  • Practical networking and Wi-Fi troubleshooting skills
  • Exposure to routers and firewalls (e.g. Cisco, UniFi/Ubiquiti, Palo Alto desirable)
  • Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
  • What you'll get in return
  • A permanent, onsite role with stability and ownership
  • A genuinely broad role covering support, infrastructure, and networking
  • Exposure to infrastructure uplift and technology improvement projects
  • Autonomy and accountability within an internal IT environment
  • A role where you can make a visible impact on day-to-day operations
  • What you need to do now
