We're looking for an experienced Desktop Support - Site Lead to efficiently manage site operations, act as a liaison with headquarters, and enhance site functionality. The ideal candidate is personable, passionate about problem-solving with technology, and enjoys daily interaction. Responsibilities include resolving device issues, prioritizing customer satisfaction, and providing user training. Strong customer rapport is crucial for success.
What you'll do:
Lead and coordinate IT service delivery, taking ownership of day-to-day technology issues and engaging with client site leadership to keep them informed.
Build personable relationships with end-users, seeking feedback and continuously improving service.
Present monthly IT operations reports and ensure documentation, processes, and procedures are always up to date.
Identify gaps where no process exists and collaborate with colleagues to design and implement improvements.
Support IT operations across offices, including meeting room technology checks, event technology, new office/AV/Internet setups, and hardware/software management.
Manage IT hardware ordering, software licensing, and quote approvals in consultation with relevant teams.
Partner with People & Culture to deliver end-to-end employee technology lifecycle, from onboarding and workstation setup to offboarding.
Mentor junior team members and assist the Operations team with IT-related projects and initiatives.
What you'll bring:
Previous experience in Desktop Support role
Strong network knowledge
Strong Windows 10 and 11 knowledge
Experience with Remote Desktop Servers
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019
Experience presenting reports and issues to management.
A positive mindset with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Willingness to learn technology solutions and concepts to confidently liaise with staff and external vendors.
Experience presenting to management teams.
Experience in A/V Hardware and Systems
Good verbal and written communication skills
