Destination Editor - Travel Content

We are now looking for a Destination Editor, who will edit and improve content created by writers and AI for a specific group of destinations. You will build strong knowledge of those locations, check facts, improve clarity and consistency, and make sure every piece of content is accurate, useful and ready for customers. Working as part of a content pod, you will share your destination expertise across deals, tours, cruises and editorial content.



What you'll do:

• Review and improve AI-generated hotel deal copy for your destinations.
• Edit tour and cruise content, using your knowledge of itineraries, operators and what matters most to customers.
• Build and maintain strong knowledge of key hotels, destinations, seasons and travel products within your region.
• Work with your Senior Content Manager to support destination keyword and SEO priorities.
• Use customer and content performance insights to improve accuracy, quality and usefulness.
• Pitch, write and publish destination articles, using AI to support the first draft and your expertise to shape the final content.
• Connect editorial content with relevant live deals and travel offers.
• Stay across upcoming properties, promotions and content priorities for your destinations.
• Share content insights, improvement ideas and learnings with your Senior Content Manager and the wider team.
• Contribute strong examples and practical feedback to improve shared AI prompts and editing guidelines.

• Experience in an editorial, content or writing role, ideally within travel, lifestyle or e-commerce.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills, with excellent attention to accuracy, tone and detail.
• The ability to write clear, engaging and commercially focused customer content.
• Confidence using AI tools as part of your daily writing and editing workflow.
• The ability to review basic performance data and use insights to improve content.
• Strong research skills and an interest in building detailed destination and product knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with Sales, Campaign Operations and Marketing teams.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a continuous pipeline of content.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a willingness to share ideas, feedback and learnings.
