About the Role
Reporting to the Head of New Product Development, the Development Baker is responsible for support all NPD and EPD activities from concept to the first production run.
You will also be responsible for managing bench trials, record keeping, product presentations to customers and potential customers ensuring all approved products meet customer specifications and comply with BSI standards.
From time to time, you will be responsible for responsible for providing technical support and training to the production teams, ensuring that the company achieves the highest possible food safety, product quality and GMP standards to comply with all external / customer certification standards and applicable legislative requirements.
Our aim is to be “Audit Ready” everyday.
You will be required to demonstrate previous experience in a similar, bakery preferred and have tertiary qualifications in Food Science and Technology.
