DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in AWS DevOps practices, including AWS CDK, and a solid understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and monitoring in cloud-native environments.

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Work Type: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)

Type: Full-time / Contract (flexible)

Experience: 5–6 years minimum (localized experience in Australia is essential)

Key Requirements

• 5–6+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience

• Strong AWS background with hands-on knowledge of AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit)

• Experience in IaC using tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform

• Solid skills in CI/CD pipeline development (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

• Containerization experience (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes)

• Familiar with logging, monitoring & alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

• Must have localized Australian work experience

• Experience with Azure DevOps (bonus)

• Security-first mindset (IAM, least privilege, DevSecOps principles)

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (SNS/SQS/EventBridge)
