About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps & Infrastructure Lead to architect, manage, and scale hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. This role will oversee CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure automation, data platform reliability, and security compliance for high-volume, mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AWS, Snowflake, and data center operations, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving innovation in DevOps and infrastructure management.

Core Responsibilities

DevOps Architecture & Delivery

• Architect and oversee CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Snowflake, and private data centers, enabling seamless delivery of data and application services.
• Define DevOps frameworks to automate deployments, patching, monitoring, and incident remediation for high-volume data environments.
• Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to enhance data-driven workflows, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Cloud, Data & Infrastructure Management

• Lead hybrid infrastructure spanning AWS and on-premise/private data centers, ensuring operational excellence and high availability.
• Oversee data platform reliability, storage provisioning, database scaling, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Optimize compute, network, and storage utilization for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability.
• Standardize configurations and leverage observability tools for proactive monitoring and data center health.
• Manage BAU operations including VM provisioning, container orchestration, and hardware lifecycle management.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Direct security incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and red team exercises for data center and cloud workloads.
• Ensure compliance with financial sector regulations, focusing on secure data storage, encryption, and access management.
• Oversee IAM policies, RBAC controls, and SSL/TLS lifecycle management for critical infrastructure.

Leadership & Strategic Collaboration

• Mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence and driving adoption of best practices in infrastructure and data security.
• Lead collaboration across DevOps, Security, and Data teams to ensure reliable and compliant data operations.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape infrastructure strategies, budgets, and technical roadmaps supporting business growth. 
• Automating DevOps processes for the current data center.
• Strengthening vulnerability scanning and remediation.

• 10+ years of IT operations including DevOps, Systems and cyber security experience, including cloud architecture (AWS, Azure) and enterprise systems.
• Proven track record in DevOps engineering (CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, incident management).
• Hands-on experience with crypto exchanges, stock trading platforms, or multi-asset brokerage systems
• Strong expertise in cyber security practices: security breaches remediation, vulnerability management, patch automation, IAM.
• Hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), database and Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools: New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, PRTG.
• Solid networking and virtualization knowledge (Firewalls, Cisco/Meraki, VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong scripting/programming skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or equivalent).
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
