DIDO Loader Operator

Work Location: Shine Iron Ore Mine

Roster: 2/1 - DIDO 

Type: Full-time permanent 

We’re seeking an experienced Front End Loader Operator to join our team at Shine Mine on a Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) basis. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely loading and transporting bulk iron ore from the processing area and onto road haulage trucks.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

• Accurate product loading on the weighbridge or to the load plan using the loadmaster unit.
• Minimum two years’ experience in similar role.
• Proven safety track record & have an ongoing commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently with demonstrated high-level work ethic.
• Ability to follow strict workplace and safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical exam.

Required Skills and Experience 

• A current and valid Driver’s Licence
• Experience operating a WA600 or similar-sized Loader
• Minimum two years’ experience in similar role
• A National Loader Ticket (preferred but not essential)

This is a permanent, full-time position on a DIDO basis, working 12-hour shifts on a 7 days on, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster.
