DIESEL MECHANIC / DIESEL FITTER / LV MECHANIC (((FIFO)))

BDS Mechanical currently has permanent positions available for Diesel mechanics, Diesel fitters and LV mechanics to join our FIFO team. These are full time FIFO positions located in Cloncurry, Kowanyama and Doomadgee on a 2/2 roster. This isn't your standard FIFO, these areas have some of the best fishing and hunting in Australia that you'll be able to explore during your time off.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a privately owned, growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 150 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland, meaning we’re never too far away. 

The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Relevant Australian recognised trade certificate
• Current drivers license
• Diagnostic experience
• Experience on HD and HV
• Good communication skills
• Strong fault finding skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
