About You

We are in search of a Digital Marketing Account Director with 5 years or more of agency experience or highly relevant experience. You should have proven experience in developing and executing digital strategies and some experience project managing website builds.

You lead and manage various workstreams and are fully integrated into our client’s business, with direct responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day client campaign management.

The Digital Account Director plays a critical role in the agency, responsible for managing important retainer and campaign clients to ensure excellent results from cross-functional teams.

Working closely with the Head of Digital and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key clients and playing a pivotal role in growing the digital arm of the agency.

You will be a part of a fabulous team of digital specialists, account managers, copywriters, designers, and web developers who love what they do.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for independently managing all project deliverables related to key accounts, clients, and your team.
  • Developing digital strategies aligned with client’s overall business goals in collaboration with the Head of Digital for your client portfolio.
  • Planning and overseeing the implementation of all digital marketing communications, including SEO/SEM, sponsored/paid search, email, and social media.
  • Managing a set of clients and cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Assisting in onboarding new clients, conducting Discovery Workshops, and planning campaigns.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for their needs, questions, and concerns.
  • Regularly analysing campaign performance data and trends to identify areas for improvement and providing actionable insights to clients.
  • Conducting fortnightly and monthly work-in-progress meetings with clients to keep them informed.
  • Assisting the Managing Director in developing and writing RFPs and new business presentations and playing a significant role in the presentations.
  • Project managing website development projects 

 

What sets you apart?

  • A minimum 5 years of relevant agency experience
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across various digital channels – SEM / SEO), social media marketing, display advertising, content marketing, and more.
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment with a focus on client engagement and management
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work across multiple projects
  • Engagement with clients, including presentations and gathering feedback
  • Preferably, experience in paid advertising and insights tracking on major social platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), YouTube, Google Ads, and TikTok
  • Experience with aggregated reporting and insights dashboards
  • Experience in SEO and keyword planning 
  • Experience working globally or with colleagues in different locations
  • In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of digital marketing
  • Performance Marketing expertise, hands-on experience with tools, proficiency across Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with strong commercial awareness
  • Relevant experience in planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns, ideally with B2B experience
  • Native-level proficiency in both written and spoken English with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Confident and effective presenter with the ability to convey plans, ideas, and results clearly to clients
  • Experience in B2B and eCommerce marketing
  • Good understanding of WordPress websites
  • Experience in managing or directing a team at this level
