Digital Copywriter

Help shape the digital experience for millions of RACQ members and customers.
As Digital Copywriter, you will lead the creation and optimisation of member-focused digital content and influence cross-functional teams across Marketing, Digital, Product and Project functions as part of a major website transformation initiative.

About the role 
Join a major digital transformation project and play a key role in shaping RACQ's online customer experience. As our Digital Copywriter, you'll create engaging, member-focused content that drives conversion, enhances usability and ensures consistency across RACQ's digital platforms.

• Create, optimise and maintain digital content across landing pages, product pages and personalised customer experiences.
• Partner with project, product, marketing and digital teams to translate business objectives into clear, effective web content.
• Lead content audits and stakeholder workshops to improve content quality, consistency and performance.
• Champion RACQ's tone of voice, content governance framework and digital content standards across the business.
• Ensure all content meets editorial, accessibility, SEO and AEO/GEO best practice while mentoring content authors and editors.

About you  
We are seeking a candidate who is a confident writer, strong collaborator and natural problem-solver. You will be comfortable working with stakeholders across RACQ, using insight and best-practice digital content principles to produce copy that is clear, accessible, accurate and member focused. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your digital writing expertise in a collaborative team environment and contribute to meaningful improvements across RACQ’s digital channels.

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, Journalism or a similar tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience deemed suitable.
• 3–5 years’ relevant experience in digital content, communications, marketing, journalism or similar.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write engaging copy with accurate spelling and grammar.
• Experience writing varied corporate content to brand guidelines and member segments, including emotionally engaging content.
• Knowledge of effective communication and interaction principles for electronic media, including web constraints and interactive writing.
• Good understanding of SEO, AEO/GEO, web usability, content strategy and content conversion goals.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Advanced interpersonal skills to build stakeholder relationships across management levels and resolve issues effectively.
• Experience working in a corporate, agile or consulting environment is desirable.
• Experience with personalised content and content management using Adobe Experience Manager or a similar enterprise CMS is desirable.
