Digital Hardware Engineer - 2/3 (Alice Springs Australia)

Ability to work odd and/or extended hours covering a 24/7 period and periodic rotating 12-hour shifts . Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline plus 2 years of experience engineering/technical experience OR a Masters' Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline plus 0 years of engineering/technical experience Ability to obtain/pass CI Poly Examination prior to start date Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline plus 5 years of experience engineering/technical experience OR a Masters' Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline plus 3 years of engineering/technical experience Knowledge and understanding of basic communication theory, digital and analog modulation/demodulation techniques, AC & DC electronic theory Proven leadership experience on a project and/or team Active in scope DoD Top Secret Clearance OR SCI Access at time of application Ability to obtain/pass CI Poly Examination prior to start date Knowledgeable in BPSK & QPSK waveforms and methods for testing and troubleshooting systems that use such techniques Knowledge and understanding of various communication protocols such as RS232, RS422, GPIB, etc. Perform system, subsystem, unit and board-level troubleshooting and repair Develop and modify procedures for alignment Provide on-call 24/7 emergency anomaly response to diagnose data and support restoration/repair efforts
