Job Description - Digital Health Training Officer


Fixed-Term Full-Time (12-month contract) | 40 Hours per week with a monthly ADO


$37.67 per hour (HS3)

About the Role


The Digital Health Training Officer identifies learning needs and delivers high-quality training, coaching and support to enable Grampians Health staff to confidently and safely use digital health systems, applications and devices. The role contributes to organisation-wide digital capability uplift by developing contemporary learning resources, supporting end users, and embedding cyber security awareness and safe digital practices into training, onboarding and ongoing capability programs.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Support the adoption of new and updated digital technologies, systems and applications across Grampians Health.

  • Deliver foundational digital skills training, including Microsoft 365, email and calendar tools, virtual desktop environments, collaboration platforms and corporate applications.

  • Apply evidence‑based adult learning principles to deliver practical, accessible training in face‑to‑face and online environments.

  • Plan, design and deliver digital training programs aligned to organisational and ICT project needs.

  • Develop and maintain user‑friendly learning resources, including guides, quick reference materials and reusable training content.


 


Skills & Experience



  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to work towards (desirable).

  • Demonstrated experience delivering training or coaching, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Experience designing, delivering and evaluating training programs across face‑to‑face and online formats (desirable).

  • Proven ability to develop clear, practical learning resources such as user guides, instructions and job aids.

  • Experience using digital systems in a healthcare or complex organisational environment (desirable).

  • Willingness to work on site, with flexibility for remote work as required, and travel to other Grampians Health sites to deliver training.
