YOUR ROLE  

 
In this pivotal role, you will drive impactful change by expertly managing prioritization and backlog, serving as the vital link between product and technology delivery teams. Your responsibilities include analysing analytics, incorporating customer feedback, monitoring industry trends, evaluating emerging technologies, and leveraging business-driven improvement concepts to inform the creation and ranking of digital initiatives. Collaborating closely with technology leads and key stakeholders, you’ll define the feature sets of assigned initiatives and strategically prioritize the backlog to optimize both customer satisfaction and business outcomes, anchored in data-driven insights. Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to further enhance your capabilities and skills, facilitating their broader application across technology in IAG.

 
This is a full-time 24-month max term opportunity with hybrid working conditions and is open to any of our IAG office locations in Australia, with a preference for Melbourne.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria: 

 
• 3+ years’ experience as an Agile Product Owner on customer facing digital products, preferably with experience in the insurance/financial services industry
• Relevant tertiary/ post-graduate qualifications including Business Management with in-depth industry experience, or lesser formal qualifications with more extensive workplace experience
• A current product owner certification, CSPO or equivalent
• Experience in digital only or technology-based companies
• Strong data focus and experience in data driven decision making
• Experience in applying an agile methodology to digital development
• Experience in applying lean principles to initiative identification, development and delivery
