Digital Marketing Coordinator - Innovative Company

We're looking for an adventurous Marketing Coordinator who has a passion for digital content content creation, like writing long and short form blogs, EDM's or engaging social media posts, and focusing on our favourite topic - adventure travel.

This exciting position will require you to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, tech savvy, have creative writing skills, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure our expedition meets our objectives.

To be considered, you must have at least 3 years of social media and content creation experience so you can effectively communicate our USP’s through a variety of online and traditional channels.

We want someone who isn’t afraid to experiment, can pitch new ideas and can proactively improve the messaging of our adventure products and engage with our audiences.

Reporting to and working closely with the Marketing Director, you’ll be part of an experienced team of marketing and PR professionals, with direct responsibility for:

• Content creation for website landing pages, blogs and social media
• Growing followers and increasing engagement on our social media channels
• Writing and preparing EDMs
• Rolling out email automations
• Assisting in marketing campaigns
• Implementing content and social media strategies
• Handling special projects with strategic partners
• Digging into data insights to report and analyse campaigns and traffic
• Co-ordinating special events, information sessions and trade show booths
• Maintaining a consistent tone of voice as set out in the brand guidelines
• Overseeing video or content production projects
• Coordinating special events

To be successful in this position:

• You are a flawless and concise communicator, both written and verbal
• You understand how one great idea can be repurposed into multiple assets and are happy playing with new tools to showcase your work.
• You develop killer concepts with the ability to make stuff happen.
• You are both a creative and strategic thinker
• You are comfortable with website backend management (CMS experience desirable), using email marketing systems and Google Analytics 
• You are a social whiz with a knowledge of social media tools and techniques (Facebook Suite and Ads Manager experience highly desirable) 
• Your time management and organisational skills are second nature
• You can work autonomously and collaboratively 
• You can juggle multiple tasks and prioritise competing deadlines
• You have a positive attitude, sense of humour and are a team player
• You have the ability to spot trending opportunities
• You create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines

While experience in the travel industry is desirable, preferably the adventure travel industry, a passion for our style of active travel is a must (make sure you include where you have travelled to in your resume).

THE PACKAGE: 

On top of your salary you will receive superannuation, an extra 5 days educational leave per year and other travel benefits after you have reached a set period of time with the company.
