About the Role

Global Pump Group (combining Pumps, Water, and Fire divisions) is seeking an experienced Digital & Social Media Coordinator with a can-do spirit, proactive mindset, and high collaboration skills. The Digital & Social Media Coordinator has a frontline responsibility for all aspects of digital and social media marketing in close collaboration with our small production marketing team.

Acquisition of product knowledge and a deep understanding of target markets will be essential to success in this role, as you engage daily with customers, creating advocates for the business and further building our customer base through followers and expanding our social media reach.

Key Duties

The Digital & Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for the following key duties:

• Oversight of all digital marketing and social media platforms
• Development and implementation of a digital marketing plan with clear outcomes
• Creation and distribution of a strict content calendar
• Monthly reporting on digital performance against established KPIs
• Collaboration with other marketing team members in the execution of corporate collateral
• Cultivation of leads and sales in collaboration with Sales Manager and Sales Team
• Liaison with SEO, SEM and other third-party agencies
• Utilisation of photo and video content for social media and other marketing material
• Event management, planning and execution

Required Skills and Experience 

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Hubspot highly regarded
