Position: Full-Time Digital Media Content Creator

Blue Hill is a content agency which communicates for specialist industries that are good for people, good for business and good for the world.

Based in inner-city Brisbane, we work with some of Australia’s most recognised brands and organisations across agribusiness, creating content which resonates with unique and specific audiences, while contributing to a strong sector and vibrant rural and regional communities.

The Role:

We are seeking a talented digital content creator to collaborate closely with our team, contributing to the development of compelling content across various platforms, including social media, advertisements, and print/online media for a range of clients. You will have a creative eye, a passion for storytelling, knowledge of latest trends and technology, and the ability to produce high quality content from the planning stages right through to the finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships and understanding their needs and wants to deliver personalised social media strategies that align with their objectives.
• Generate creative ideas and concepts for social media content, campaigns, and activations. Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing to drive innovation and results.
• Demonstrate an ability to work with camera operators, editors and graphic designers to help bring to life videos, graphics, and written content for various digital platforms such as social media, websites, and blogs.
• Prepare regular reports on social media performance, highlighting key metrics, insights, and actionable recommendations.
• Present findings to clients in clear, concise, and visually appealing formats.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in digital content creation and social media management 
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a flair for crafting catchy captions and copy
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for the agriculture industry is a bonus but not essential
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to tackle challenges head on.
