Independent Living Assessment (iLA) is for-purpose organisation with a focus on empowering people living within the Australian community, to increase their knowledge and take steps towards maintaining their independence at home and in their community.  Operating across the broader community sector, iLA currently delivers Regional Assessment Service, National Village Hubs Grants Program, and a range of digital-first initiatives including LiveUp, KeepAble Sector Support & Development, and AT Chat navigation and peer mentoring programs.

The Role

Responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of digital projects and associated business improvement initiatives, outlined in iLA’s data and digital strategy and its ‘living’ road map. The role requires a blend of leadership, project management, and change management skills, and in in-depth understanding of digital technologies and trends.

Key tasks include: 

  • Digital project management ensuring the successful completion of digital and associated projects and initiatives, using waterfall, agile or hybrid methodologies as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure well rounded perspective on projects and to foster collaboration and communication amongst team members and across workstreams.
  • Ensure all operational and administrative processes are undertaken in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Lead, participate and/or engage in all activities that relate to Group strategic initiatives and key issues.
  • Participate actively, and work closely and constructively, with Executive, Peers, and Leadership Team to deliver integrated business outcomes.
  • Ensure cultural optimisation through implementing and engaging in fit-for-purpose cultural programs and embedding these within the group, including being a leading champion.

About You

Having a cloud and mobile-first approach, you will be an ICT Professional that loves working within a solution-based environment. You will possess a blend of leadership, project management, and change management skills, and in in-depth understanding of digital technologies and trends.

We are seeking a dynamic results-driven specialist to lead the successful delivery of our Digital Projects

  • Ideally 3 – 4 years’ experience in ICT project management including proven management of multiple digital projects including web development application lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to define business requirements and translate it into Technical Requirements working collaboratively with Digital Services team.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Sound leadership skills with ability to achieve business outcomes within defined timeframes and budgets.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
